Academy for Five Element Acupuncture was founded in Florida in 1988 and is located in Gainesville, FL. The Five Elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water—represent a central aspect of this ancient energetic tradition. Students of Academy for Five Element Acupuncture are trained, in the ancient and subtle energetic wisdom of the Five Elements. Master of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Studies are the programs offered by the Academy. In 2000, the Florida State Commission for Independent Education awarded degree-granting power to the Academy.
