North Dakota State University was founded as the North Dakota Agricultural College in Fargo, North Dakota. Currently, more than 13,200 students are enrolled at the university. The university grants undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in various fields. Academic programs are offered via the different colleges and programs of the university: colleges of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources; Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; Business; Engineering and Architecture; Human Development and Education; Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Sciences; Science and Mathematics; and University Studies; besides the Graduate School; Continuing Education; Cooperative Education and International Programs.
