The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is part of the University of Arkansas System. It is a public university that was established in 1879 and is located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The institute has a current enrolment of 2,538 students. It consists of six academic units, namely, College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, College of Health Related Professions, Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health and Graduate School. It awards the bachelors, masters, doctors and associates degree in the fields of Bio Medical Sciences, Technology, Paramedics, Surgical Technology, Cytotechnology, Medical Sonography and Nursing.
