Founded in 1947, the University of Maryland University College is one of 11 accredited, degree-granting institutions in the University System of Maryland. Headquartered in Adelphi, Maryland, the university has locations in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area, Europe, and Asia, and provides online classes to students worldwide. Currently more than 32,000 students attend the university. The university offers more than 100 bachelors and masters degree programs and certificates fully online. The programs are offered via the Graduate School of Management & Technology and the School of Undergraduate Studies.
