It is primarily a graduate-level university focusing on the health sciences and offers programs through six schools; Biomedical Science, Dentistry, Health Informatics, Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health. The university awards certificate, bachelor, masters, doctoral and professional degrees. Interdisciplinary studies are offered at the university with eleven joint degree programs.
